MN: Milan to have five absentees for Coppa Italia quarter-final clash against Inter

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will have five absentees for Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against city rivals Inter, according to a report.

The Rossoneri will be looking to reach the final four of the competition for the fourth season in a row when they face the Nerazzurri at San Siro.

According to MilanNews, Milan boss Stefano Pioli will be without five key players for the game, as Gianluigi Donnarumma will be suspended while there are a host of injury problems.

Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer, Hakan Calhanoglu (COVID-19) and now Pierre Kalulu – who on Saturday night sustained a blow to the oblique abdominal muscle – will all miss the game.

Alessio Romagnoli and Alexis Saelemaekers were both absent against Atalanta through suspension and will be back for the fixture against Inter, and both are expected to start in this game as per the latest reports from Tuttosport, who have published their predicted XI.
