Simon Kjaer has been a successful signing by AC Milan, having performed really well ever since his arrival in January. However, despite his performances, the Rossoneri haven’t made a decision on his future yet.
According to Anto Vitiello of MilanNews.it, the Rossoneri have the opportunity to sign him for €3.5m from Sevilla, but are yet to make a decision on the matter. They are currently making their evaluations about the deal.
As mentioned, the defender is performing at a high level and has repeatedly expressed his intention to remain at Milan. That being said, there are a few factors that the club management is taking into account.
In addition to the technical aspect, his age (31) and salary over the coming years (€2.5m per year) are being assessed. These are two factors that have a significant meaning in the negotiations, while the deadline for the clause is set on July 15th.
