MN: Milan’s probable XI for crucial Juve clash – battle between Bonaventura and Paqueta

By Isak Möller -

On the eve of the clash against Juventus, AC Milan will have their last training session at 6 pm, which should clear up some doubts that Stefano Pioli has. Above all, the condition of Hakan Calhanoglu will be evaluated.

According to MilanNews.it, the manager will most likely continue with the same starting eleven he fielded against Lazio. In other words, Ante Rebic will be on the bench once again while Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start up front.

Following the knock he received in the game against Lazio, Calhanoglu will be evaluated during the training session this evening. The feeling is that he will have made a full recovery, ready to start on the left flank as usual.

The real battle, as the report continues, is between Jack Bonaventura and Lucas Paqueta, who are competing for the trequartista spot. Should Calhanoglu fail to make it, then both will start with the Brazilian playing on the left.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Bonaventura (Paquetà), Calhanoglu; Ibrahimovic.
