MN: Milan’s schedule for important Napoli clash – will make the trip on Sunday

By Isak Möller -

Following the draw against Hellas Verona, Milan will be looking to get back to winning ways on Sunday evening. It will be far from easy, though, as they will take on an in-form Napoli side away from home.

Stefano Pioli and his assistant, Giacomo Murelli, have both tested positive for COVID-19 and will most likely miss the clash. In their place, former Rossoneri defender and current staff member Daniele Bonera is expected to lead the team.

According to MilanNews.it, as was the case with the summer games, Milan will travel down to Naples on the same day as the game, Sunday. In other words, they will remain at Milanello on Saturday and start the trip early the following day.

The return to Lombardy is expected immediately after the game. That way, they will be able to start preparations for Thursday’s game against Lille already on Monday. Hopefully, they will come away with the three points on Sunday.
