Following the win at Lazio, and Inter’s loss to Bologna mid-week, AC Milan once again have the Scudetto in their own hands. Just four games remain and Stefano Pioli has conveniently rediscovered three players.
The Rossoneri claimed three huge points in the game against Lazio, both for the standings and confidence-wise. Just Fiorentina, Hellas Verona, Atalanta and Sassuolo now remain in what has been a great season thus far.
As highlighted by MilanNews, Pioli will rediscover three key players for the game against Fiorentina on Sunday afternoon. The players in question are Ismael Bennacer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic.
The latter two obviously played against Lazio and were decisive for Milan’s injury-time winner. In short, they have hit form just when Pioli needed it after what has been a tough season for both of them. As for Bennacer, he has recovered from his knee injury and will be available again, which is a big boost.
