MN: Probable Milan XI for Udinese clash – Donnarumma returns, Kjaer confirmed

By Isak Möller -

On the eve of Milan-Udinese, MilanNews.it have published the Rossoneri’s probable starting eleven for the important clash. By the looks of it, Pioli will make four changes compared to the SPAL game.

Just this morning, Gazzetta Dello Sport reported that Begovic was the favourite to start in goal. However, Donnarumma has recovered and will play from the first minute, after missing the game last time out.

In the defensive back-four, Kjaer and Romagnoli will partner up once again as Musacchio is still injured. Conti and Hernandez will also keep their spots on the flanks, and the latter will look to add yet another goal to his tally after scoring against SPAL.

Kessie will also return to the starting eleven after Pioli opted to start Krunic last time out. As a result of Calhanoglu’s injury, Bonaventura will keep his spot on the left flank, while Bennacer and Castillejo will start as usual.

Although Piatek and Rebic did quite well against SPAL, Pioli will revert back to the Ibrahimovic-Leao duo in attack. Considering how well the latter two played against Cagliari, you can understand the manager’s choice.

Probable Milan XI (4-4-2): Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo; Castillejo, Kessie, Bennacer, Bonaventura; Ibrahimovic, Leao.
