MN: Seven fit players expected at Milanello tomorrow as Tonali returns early

By Isak Möller -

Milan will resume training tomorrow to start preparations for their encounter with Sampdoria next Sunday. After the win against Fiorentina, they will be keen to add another three points to their tally in the top-four race.

As reported by MilanNews, there will be a training session at 14:00 tomorrow and there will be seven ‘uninjured’ players present. The injured ones have worked at Milanello in recent days and will continue their recoveries.

The players that aren’t injured are Antonio Donnarumma, Ciprian Tatarusanu, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Soualiho Meité, Samu Castillejo and Sandro Tonali. The latter will return early from Italy’s U21 side due to his ban.

He was handed a three-game ban for a nasty stamp in the game against Czech Republic, committing the foul just in front of the linesman. On the bright side, he will get more rest ahead of what will be a crucial season finale for the team.
