MN: Simic announced by Croatian side Hajduk Split

Stefan Simic had never quite made it into the starting line up for Milan and now has left the club. The young Croatian player has returned home to Hajduk Split.

The player had a contract expiring in 2020 but spent the last six months of the season on loan at Frosinone. As reported earlier in the week, he had received three offers from teams abroad and has finally made his choice.

Hajduk Split made the announcement today, revealing their new centre back in their stadium. No details on the transfer fee have been revealed.

Stefan Simic has been a Milan player since 2014 but never made an official league appearance for the club. He spent time out on loan to four different teams during his time with the Rossoneri.

Those teams include Varese, Mouscron, Crotone, and Frosinone. We wish him the best in his next chapter at Hajduk Split!
