MN: The latest on Calhanoglu’s condition as decisive test awaits ahead of Milan-Roma

By Isak Möller -

Following the 3-1 win against Celtic in the Europa League, Milan are now at 21 consecutive games without a loss. However, their next test will be a bit hard, as Roma will visit San Siro on Monday.

Stefano Pioli will most likely have to do without both Ante Rebic and Hakan Calhanoglu. The former definitely won’t make it back in time, but the story is different for the Turkish international, who sprained his ankle earlier this week.

According to MilanNews.it, there will be a decisive test for Calhanoglu tomorrow to understand if he can at least be included in the squad. At the moment, however, the chances are indeed very slim.

The No.10 will do everything he can to recover but even today, he continued to do personalised work at Milanello. Rade Krunic replaced him against Celtic and is expected to do so against Roma as well, having done well last time out.
