Milan could part ways with Hakan Calhanoglu, their current No.10, at the end of this month as his contract will expire then. Therefore, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are scanning the market for potential replacements.
As reported by Andrea Longoni for MilanNews, the Rossoneri’s big goal for the playmaker role is Rodrigo De Paul. The Argentine registered nine goals and ten assists for Udinese this past season, attracting the interest of several big clubs.
Atletico Madrid (who have even made an offer), Arsenal and Napoli are also monitoring the situation of the player, per the report. However, this hasn’t scared Milan and they are ahead of their competitors for three reasons.
Firstly, De Paul has given his consent to joining the Rossoneri after speaking with the management. In addition, Udinese are great admirers of both Jens Petter Hauge and Tommaso Pobega, who could be used as technical counterparts in the deal.
Once the Calhanoglu saga has been settled, Milan will know what to do with regards to De Paul. In just two weeks, they could really go all in for the player.

I don’t understand what you write, those are your wishes as a writer ??? Milan cannot bring De Pauli because Udinese only wants money. 40 million is the price that Udinese wants and a note that they do not want other players who would reduce the price
Maldini is doing great we wish him all the best and the new challenge for Milan is to win the league and reached semi final or final of champions league.
That’s a high target in CL. I would say progressing through the group stage and round of 16 is more reasonable. Semi finals seems very farfetched for the current situation.
