MN: Tonali tops five-man shortlist as Milan are ready to invest large sums

By Isak Möller -

In the summer, AC Milan will invest both in the midfield and the attack. All for technical and numerical issues, as the Rossoneri intend to move ahead with their youth revolution.

On the list made by chief scout Geoffrey Moncada, as reported by MilanNews.it, there are several Italian prospects which Milan could try to invest even large sums in. Sandro Tonali tops the list, but the competition for the player is tremendously fierce.

The Rossoneri are also following Empoli’s Samuele Ricci with great attention, just like Roma as the 18-year-old has impressed. Alessio Riccardi is another one, but the Giallorossi have set a high price tag.

Abroad, the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Teun Koopmeiners have been linked with Milan. The former’s entourage has already been contacted by Lazio, while PSV valuation of the Dutch midfielder is too high for the time being.

The market prices haven’t decreased yet and it remains to be seen how much they will (Coronavirus effect). However, sooner or later, Milan will have to start negotiations on the market.
