After the team dinner paid by Milan sporting director Rocco Maiorino, AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella spoke to the press outside the restaurant in which the dinner took place.
“We’ve been dining well. First we had meat, the last time we went out we ate fish and now we had pizza. Supposedly next time we’ll have a vegan dinner. I’m not sure how many of us will come for that,” Montella told jokingly to Milannews.it
The 42-year-old technician also spoke about the thrilling Champions League match-up between Barcelona and PSG that was being played while the team was dining.
“Barca – PSG? It was a very exciting and fun match. What speech did Luis Enrique give to the players? I do not know. I only had one speech in a Champions league game myself.
“If Milan need to play like Barcelona to beat Juventus? We must definitely play better. Bacca smiling more? Yes, because he didn’t pay for the dinner. The fans? I always feel their affection,” Montella concluded.
