New AC Milan sale contract to be signed tomorrow with third deposit arriving at Fininvest

By Nikita Fesyukov -

After the match against Juventus and the controversies let loose after the match, AC Milan are back to thinking about the potential sale of the club to the Chinese consortium Sino-Europe Sports.

Today begins a crucial week to understand more about the conclusion of this endless saga. As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, in the coming hours a new closing date will be agreed upon. It will likely between April 7 and April 14 (maybe even sooner).

As soon as the new closing date is chosen, Sino-Europe Sports will pay a third €100 million deposit to Fininvest as a guarantee. This payment is expected to arrive tomorrow (in midweek at the latest). After that the new contract for the sale of the club will be signed and validified by both parties.

From the moment of the signature until the new closing date both parties will again be bound by an exclusive agreement. Both sides want to close the deal at all costs and the hope is that, after so many delays, this will finally be the right time.
