M’Baye Niang believes Milan ‘gave everything’ in order to win 3-1 against Chievo in Verona on Sunday night.
Goals from Juraj Kucka, Niang and a deflected Carlos Bacca shot guided the Rossoneri to joint-second in the league with their fifth win of the campaign.
“We gave everything. This victory is deserved and we have to celebrate it. If we want to have a great season, it means winning this type of match,” Niang told Mediaset Premium.
“If we continue like this, then we can talk about Europe. We’ve got 16 points, but must remain humble, as it’s just the beginning.
“I always try to give my all for this shirt: we are Milan and in every game we must give it everything we’ve got.”
Niang paid tribute to the injured Riccardo Montolivo during his celebration, holding up a shirt of the Milan captain who will be missing for six months.
“I dedicated the goal to Montolivo with my heart and wish him all the best. I hope he’s back soon.”
