Hakan Calhanoglu is yet to renew his contract, which will expire at the end of this month, and he hasn’t even responded to Milan’s offer. While he could still renew, he hasn’t exactly gained the appreciation of the fans.
Many Rossoneri fans are frustrated with his behaviour, openly hinting at a move away from Milan in recent interviews despite the fact that there is an offer on the table. And to date, the Rossoneri’s offer is still the best one.
Speaking on OCW Sports Twitch channel, as cited by Calciomercato.com, former Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino shared his thoughts on the situation. He made it very clear that Calhanoglu should indeed have acted differently.
“I don’t go into the merits of personal choices, everyone does what they want. What would I have done? I’ll say this, if Milan sign me from a foreign league and I play two seasons so-so, and then I play one well, I wouldn’t expect the moon.
“I would go there and say, ‘What are you offering me?’ And then I would sign yesterday, not tomorrow,” he stated.
It remains to be seen if the No.10 will renew his contract in the end, but he’s currently focused on the Euros with Turekey. Perhaps, he’s hoping that a good tournament will give him some more offers.

God bless you, Nocerino. Good for people to say the truth.
Tochi…my Man Forza Milan
Nocerino is absolutely right.
Calhanoglu on the other hand, does not deserve any kind of offer from AC Milan. The only thing he deserves is criticism.
So let him go
“Perhaps, he’s hoping that a good tournament will give him some more offers”. I just had to quote this. It’s damn hilarious.
What a revelation, thanks Nocerino
Well, Turkey is out of the Euros barring a miracle. Hakan had a poor outing and still shows that he cannot single handedly change the course of a game for the better. He’s no inspiration and just a plain average player with a few occasional good touches.
I’m sure Hauge will do better in that position. We need Insigne.
Indeed. From the matches, he lacked of aggresion and passing
