Antonio Nocerino recently left Milan for MLS club Orlando City after terminating his contract with the Rossoneri. Many people suspected former Milan legend Kaka had something to do with Nocerino’s choice, which was confirmed today.
In an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Nocerino confirmed that he actually decided to move to Orlando City because of Kaka.
“Ricky is a friend and I’m happy to reunite with him. His presence was a bonus. He talked about the club’s ambition and convinced me, he is a champion. I have had a desire to face an experience abroad and the soccer and the MLS are both in great growth. the level of the league has risen enormously in recent years. Jersey number? I’ll take the 22 who brought me luck at Milan.”
The midfielder also spoke about Kevin-Prince Boateng, who he believes will be important for Milan.
“With Prince there is a deep bond. He is a great guy and will be very important for Milan. It is one of the few true friends I have in football along with Di Natale, Quagliarella and Darmian.”
