By Steph Insixiengmay -

The second half of the season is underway for the AC Milan Women and the team has been busy securing reinforcements for their upcoming matches.

Yesterday, Milan announced that Nesrine Bahlouli had officially joined the team. The midfielder comes to the team from the storied and successful French club, Olympique Lyonnais.

Bahlouli is a burgeoning and technically gifted player who will be a much-needed reinforcement for the midfield. The midfielder has signed a two-year contract with the club until 2025.

The other player who has joined the team is Dutch defender, Aniek Nouwen. Nouwen was unveiled as Milan’s latest signing on Saturday and has been named in the squad for Saturday’s game against Sampdoria.

The defender comes to the Rossonere on loan in search of more playing time ahead of the upcoming Women’s World Cup. She does so after signing a renewal with her parent club, Chelsea.

The Rossonere will take on Sampdoria at 12:30 CET on Saturday as they continue their bid to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
