Official: Four Milan players handed fines due to Scudetto celebrations

By Isak Möller -

Four AC Milan players, as well as the club, have been handed fines for the Scudetto celebrations during the parade in Milano. In addition to a few chants, a banner directed against Inter was also displayed.

A few of the players mocked their city rivals for ‘only’ winning the Coppa Italia, displaying a banner with obscene language. It’s something that the FIGC didn’t take kindly to and a few fines have now been made official.

As cited by Calciomercato.com, Rade Krunic has been handed a fine of €5k, while the likes of Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan and Sandro Tonali have received a fine of €4k each. Milan have also been ordered to pay €12k for not keeping their players under control.

Obviously, it’s not something that Milan will dwell over. Preparations are already underway for next season on the mercato front and the pre-season will begin on Monday next week, with full focus on the Scudetto again.
