After a long and drawn out saga, Lucas Biglia has been officially unveiled as an AC Milan player.

Biglia was greeted at the airport by crowds of cheering fans last night before staying the night at the Westin Palace Hotel, where all the new Milan signings reside.

“I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect this welcome,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“I am very happy.”

The Rossoneri have reportedly agreed a €17m deal, with €3m bonuses added in order to strike a deal with Lazio to get the Argentina international.

The 31-year-old become the latest in what has been a major summer overhaul by the new Milan ownership.

He joins the likes of Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez, Andre Silva, Hakan Calhanoglu, Andrea Conti and Leonardo Bonucci in the shake-up.
