OFFICIAL: Boban and Maldini have roles at AC Milan confirmed

It has been known for quite some time, but now it’s finally official. Paolo Maldini is the new technical director of AC Milan, while Zvonimir Boban will be the Chief Football Officer.

On their official website just a few minutes ago, AC Milan revealed the details of the two new position. For Maldini, the job is pretty straightforward, as he will occupy Leonardo’s former role at the club (Technical Director).

Boban, on the other hand, has been appointed as the Chief Football Officer of the club, and will thus be responsible for the coordination and supervision of sporting activities. The two will work closely with CEO Ivan Gazidis, who expressed his delight over the two new additions.

“Boban? I’m very excited to welcome Zvone back to his home, to our Milan team. Maldini? I’m happy to have him at the helm of our Sports Area. With him, we will be able to aim at the construction of a modern Club made up of professionals of very high quality,” he said to the official website.
