Milan will take on Sampdoria at San Siro tomorrow and following the win against Fiorentina, they will be looking to build on the positive mood with another three points. Certainly, the Scudetto race isn’t over just yet.
Stefano Pioli spoke to the media earlier today and just like ahead of the Fiorentina game, he’s feeling confident as the team has worked very well lately. Furthermore, he will be able to rely on a very strong XI, although a still are few injured.
Ante Rebic managed to get his two-game ban reduced to just one and will thus be at Pioli’s disposal tomorrow. Six players are out injured, though, including Alessio Romagnoli, Davide Calabria and Rafael Leao.
Ahead of the game tomorrow, Pioli named a 20-man squad which doesn’t have any surprises at all. He hasn’t even called up a Primavera player for the game and that’s why there’s not as many on the list.
