AC Milan defender Rodrigo Ely has officially completed his move to Spanish side Deportivo Alaves.
The Brazilian centre-back struggled to make an impact at San Siro, but was impressive for Alaves during his loan stint there last season.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Deportivo Alavés has closed the signing of Rodrigo Ely on a four-year deal. The central defender returns to the club where he offered good performances last season. The defender comes from AC Milan and reinforces the rear with his forceful style and his good distribution.
“Ely arrived in the past winter market to Deportivo Alavés on loan. Ely added 10 games in LaLiga Santander with a goal and 1 match in the Copa del Rey – against FC Barcelona.”
