There’s a lot to be said about AC Milan and their poor performance against Udinese last night, resulting in another draw (1-1). However, the poor refereeing cannot be ignored and once again, it punished the Rossoneri.
Stefano Pioli and his men have a lot to work on ahead of the Coppa Italia derby against Inter on Tuesday. Funnily enough, they are still first in the standings despite their performances and VAR saying no to that.
The officiating mistakes are racking up and Milan are increasingly frustrated with the decisions that have been made in their games. In addition to the clear handball on Udinese’s equaliser, Junior Messias was also denied a good chance.
As you can see in our tweet during the game last night, it gave us a lot of Spezia flashbacks as the winger was denied a goal in that game, due to the (inexperienced) referee not giving advantage properly. Messias was faster than the defender seen in the pic and it could have really led to something.

⏱ 17' The inexperienced referee fails to give Milan advantage, thus taking away a good chance. Spezia-vibes all over this. #MilanUdinese 0-0.

The mafia on italy are very strong, that is why they can interfere referee.
If a player does that he’s red carded…
Maybe refs should get red cards too.
Just always left wondering…. do other teams experience this kind of poor judgment nearly as consistently?
