AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is particularly focused on developing Ismael Bennacer, Sandro Tonali and Tommaso Pobega for the midfield next season, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News today, the departure of Franck Kessie is going to be a difficult one for the coach and the rest of the team to work around next summer but Pioli has faith in his remaining midfielders.
The main defensive player in front of the back four is going to be Algerian midfielder Bennacer who Pioli wants to see even more from this season. He has lacked consistency at times.
Sandro Tonali will be expected to maintain and the n build upon the standard that he set for himself last season when he ended the campaign as a key player.
The other player that Pioli wants to focus on and give a lot of game time to is Tommaso Pobega who has returned from a successful loan spell at Torino.

I personally have always felt like the midfield was our biggest strength in terms of overall quality so, I’d be ecstatic about a midfield trio but I’m already intrigued by the players Pioli has at his disposal so far because they offer so many different solutions. I honestly think that with a couple more additions, we’ll be in for another remarkable season.
It is for the double pivot main rotation. Just like the central-defender position, Pioli want 3 starter level players for 2 slot.

This is great. The problem is the depth.
I have a feeling Pobega will be like Ambrosini. Nothing particularly remarkable but for some reason highly effective, consistent, and a classic jack of all trades master of none who becomes an important cog in the Milan wheel. Time will tell.

Je ne pense pas, Adli jouera plus souvent en milieu offensif mais il ne sera pas une première option devant la défense.

We all know we are missing one more midfielder, 3 names for 2 spots isnt enough, as we had many problems in the midfield in the past and as far as i remember calabria had to play as a midfielder couple of times, now adli is the key for this he can play box to box and as an attacking midfielder, but its not the case, we need sanches he can be our leao in the midfield, but most importantly we MUST get CDK at any cost even if we spend most of our budget on him, and the rest of the positions, maldini can be creative and do more like (tomori/tonali) transfers.
