Pioli confident that Milan can break decade-long spell vs. Juve: “We believe in it”

By Isak Möller -

Milan will take on Juventus tomorrow and although they are the best away team in the league, it will be a very tough game. In fact, the Rossoneri haven’t registered a single point at Allianz Stadium.

Considering how tight the Champions League race is, pressure is on Milan to get a good result from the game and they will be looking to break the decade-long spell. It won’t be easy, as said, but it seems the players are confident.

During his press conference earlier today, as cited by MilanNews, Stefano Pioli shared his thoughts on the game and was also asked about the negative spell. He made it clear that they are confident and will do everything to win.

Milan have never won at Allianz Stadium. Can you break this taboo?

“We believe in it. We know that we face an opponent with great quality and strong players but we believe in our abilities. Milan want to beat these taboos and we can achieve an important performance with intensity and quality.”

The game is scheduled for 20:45 CEST and since Napoli managed to beat Spezia, Milan could finish this round outside of the top four once again. And they still have Atalanta to face, so tomorrow’s game will be crucial.
