Pioli discusses difficulties of facing Bologna: “Mihajlovic is making a masterpiece”

This evening, AC Milan will take on Bologna at the San Siro with the aim of continuing their unbeaten run. Stefano Pioli’s side are just four points short of fifth place and they will thus need every win they can get.

The Rossoneri came back from behind to beat Parma last time out and will be looking to put in an even better performance tonight. Avoiding Europa League play-offs would be very helpful, but to do so they need to finish above Roma.

During his press conference yesterday, as cited by MilanNews.it, Pioli was asked about the difficulties of facing Bologna and what his side will need to win. Just last round, the Rossoblu managed to clinch one point against Napoli.

“Tomorrow will be difficult, they won’t make it easy for us. We will need an excellent game from a technical point of view. It will take great precision.

“Mihajlovic is making a masterpiece and continuing his work. He wants to play and own the game all the time. Tomorrow, he will try to get us into trouble, but we will have to be good at bringing home the match,” he stated.

Although Milan did really well to beat the bigger sides at the start of the resumption, the real test will be the final five games of the season. Hopefully, the good form will continue until the end of the season.
