Milan are expected to part ways with Samu Castillejo this summer as there seems to be a few suitors in Spain. The winger hasn’t impressed enough and the Rossoneri now need to find a new man for the right flank.
Just yesterday, Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported that Milan are monitoring the situation of Lille star Jonathan Ikone. He could be yet another signing from the French side after Mike Maignan was announced earlier this week.
However, according to PianetaMilan, Lille want at least €30m to sell the right-winger and this is a substantial amount. Therefore, the Rossoneri want time to evaluate the potential deal and Borussia Dortmund are currently in pole position.
The German side could sell Jadon Sancho for up to €100m and would, therefore, have the funds to sign Ikone in front of Milan’s eyes. It remains to be seen if Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will respond or move on.
