Report: Barcelona prepare player-plus-cash bid to beat Juventus to Milan star

By Isak Möller -

Alessio Romagnoli continues to spark rumours on the transfer market. The AC Milan captain has a contract with the club until 2022 and the Rossoneri are working on a renewal.

Yesterday, Milanlive.it reported that Juventus have offered up centre-back Daniele Rugani plus cash to try and tempt Milan into selling the 25-year-old. However, it’s an offer that the Rossoneri are unlikely to accept, wanting at least €50m in cash.

According to TodoFichajes.com, Barcelona are also monitoring the situation of Romagnoli, who is worth just €30m in their eyes. Therefore, they are ready to present an offer of €20m plus the inclusion of Jean-Clair Todibo, who Milan wanted in January.

However, despite the rumours, the San Siro side have no intentions of parting ways with the centre-back, who has been the leader of the defence for many years now. A contract renewal is thus imminent, which should put a stop to the departure rumours.
