Report: Brescia president unwilling to grant discount – Tonali to Milan at risk

By Isak Möller -

Sandro Tonali didn’t have a spectacular first season with Milan but was still important for the Rossoneri, who had quite a few injury struggles in midfield. And now, the Rossoneri are working to redeem the youngster.

However, which perhaps was to be expected, it hasn’t been that easy for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to get a discount on the initially agreed fee. There is still no agreement between the clubs, which perhaps is cause for concern.

According to Giornale di Brescia, as cited by MilanNews, Brescia president Massimo Cellino isn’t willing to grant any further discount. Therefore, Milan will have to exercise the €15m buy-out clause otherwise the situation could change.

Tonali wants to continue with the red and black shirt, which is positive for the Rossoneri, but it might not be enough to convince Brescia. In the coming days, more updates should arrive on the matter.

  1. Please i beg Milan management to do everything to make sure we sign Tonali permanently. Would be a huge loss if he leaves and will come back to hunt us
