Milan are working hard to reinforce their squad of the upcoming season, following the successful end to the one that just ended. However, two of their targets could be taken off the market, a report claims.
According to the newspaper La Nazione, as cited by MilanNews.it, Fiorentina are working on three renewals, including the ones of Nikola Milenkovic and Federico Chiesa. Both have been linked with the Rossoneri in the last few weeks.
The duo will expire in 2022 and La Viola have recently offered them contract renewals, but they are yet to receive any answers. President Rocco Commisso and his club are determined to get the deals done amid recent exit rumours.
In a very short time, they should have their answers and will thus know how to proceed. Meanwhile, Milan have been a bit scared off due to the high demands set by Commisso, who has always made it clear they will only leave on his terms.
