Report: Leonardo in Brazil to negotiate signing of €40m winger

By Madison Derian-Toth -

AC Milan sporting directer Leonardo is in Brazil scouting potential summer signings, according to a report.

Gremio star Everton has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri in recent weeks, with his agent even confirming that discussions are underway over a possible summer move.

According to a report from Fox journalist Rodrigo Bueno, Leonardo is supposed to be meeting with Gremio president Romildo Bolzan to discuss the 23-year-old winger.

The Milan chief is also apparently interested in 19-year-old forward Anthony from Sao Paolo, however Everton is understood to be the priority.

Leonardo is facing some competition for the player’s signature as Manchester City are also interested with the young Brazilian, who is apparently valued at €40m and has scored 32 goals in 134 competitive games for Gremio.
