Report: Milan and Inter keeping tabs as Man Utd want to sell redundant midfielder

Ahead of the transfer window, which has been postponed until September, AC Milan are keeping an eye on the market for interesting opportunities. In fact, they have set their sights on a Man Utd man, a report claims.

According to The Sun, the English side are looking to offload a few players to fund a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, and Jesse Lingard is one of the redundancies. By the looks of it, he could end up in Serie A next season.

Milan, in addition to city rivals Inter, are keeping tabs on the 27-year-old and could make a move come September. The midfielder’s contract will expire in 2021 and the price could, therefore, be relatively low.

That being said, there have been no confirmations in Italia media on the Rossoneri’s interest. Furthermore, Lingard hasn’t scored or assisted a single goal this season, which makes you wonder if he is really wanted by Milan.
