Report: Agreement with Kalinic; Costa remains possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reportedly presented a new offer for Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, after reaching an agreement with the player.

According to Sky journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kalinic has agreed to join the Rossoneri this summer.

Fiorentina reportedly want between €30-35million for the Croatia international, but Milan are only willing to offer offer between €22-25million with bonuses.

According to La Nazione, AC Milan will offer Gabriel Paletta and Gianluca Lapadula to Fiorentina in a swap deal in order to bring down the price.

Andre Silva completed a €38million move from FC Porto to AC Milan on Monday, meaning an uncertain future for Carlos Bacca (wanted by Marseille) and Gianluca Lapadula.

However, there is still a possibility of yet another plot twist in Milan’s search for another striker.

In the next few days, Jorge Mendes will propose Diego Costa to Milan, but a deal is difficult due to his wages and wish to join Atletico, Romano claims.
