It’s no secret that Milan have made Tiemoue Bakayoko one of their priorities this transfer window. However, they have failed to secure the operation and now the player could evaluate other options, a report claims.
Bakayoko has a contract with Chelsea until 2022 but isn’t in the plans of Frank Lampard. According to Foot Mercato, the midfielder is thus looking for a new club and rumours linking him with a return to Milan have been insistent.
The 26-year-old would complete the midfield department, currently consisting of Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali. However, Milan aren’t the only ones interested and they need to be careful if they want to sign him.
Per the report, Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race as sporting director Leonardo appreciates the player’s qualities. He has even initiated contacts with the entourage of Bakayoko and it remains to be seen where the latter will end up.
