Report: PSG could offer goalkeeper on loan in exchange for Milan outcast

Gigio Donnarumma could leave this summer, seeing as Milan haven’t reached an agreement on the contract renewal yet. This could force the Rossoneri to find a replacement on the market, which won’t be an easy task.

However, some reports have suggested that Milan could decide to keep Pepe Reina, who currently is on loan at Aston Villa. The Spaniard’s annual salary of €3m, though, is something the Rossoneri wouldn’t mind getting rid off.

According to L’Equipe (via MilanNews.it), Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the veteran for next season. In fact, they are even ready to offer Alphonse Areola on loan to Milan in exchange for Reina this summer.

The Spaniard’s contract with the Rossoneri will expire next summer, and there have even been reports suggesting that he could retire after that. As for Areola, who currently is on loan at Real Madrid, his contract with PSG will expire in 2023.
