Report: Spezia eye loan swoop of two Milan outcasts – the situation

By Isak Möller -

In addition to signings, AC Milan are also expected to part ways with a few players this summer. Not all of them will be on a permanent basis, though, and that applies to Daniel Maldini’s situation.

The youngster didn’t get much playing time for the Rossoneri this past season and a loan move for next season could suit him well. According to QS, as cited by MilanNews, Spezia have set their sights on loaning Maldini.

Not only that, but they are also probing the possibility of signing Mattia Caldara, who is still owned by Milan. They could try to secure a double swoop from Milan, therefore, and it’s a solution that could work well for the Rossoneri as well.

In the coming days, more updates on the matter should arrive as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara currently are working overtime on the mercato. The exits, in that sense, are just as important as the signings.

  1. Excited to follow Maldinis development. With playing time he will improve his decision-making, and that, I believe, is where he must improve in order to become a solid Serie A-player.
