Report: Udinese star De Paul gives priority to Milan despite offer from Atletico Madrid

By Isak Möller -

Since securing Champions League qualification, which essentially means they have a bigger budget, Milan have been linked with several important players. One of them is Rodrigo De Paul, set to leave Udinese this summer.

This morning, Tuttosport reported (via MilanLive) that the Rossoneri are very interested in the Argentine for the trequartista role. With 9 goals and 10 assists this past season, though, Udinese have slapped a €40m price tag on De Paul.

More reports have now surfaced on the matter as Daniel Speranza claims that De Paul expressed enthusiasm in the meetings with Paolo Maldini. Despite an offer from Atletico Madrid, therefore, he has given priority to Milan.

The deal is still complicated, as the journalist continues, but it’s clear that the will of the player could play in the Rossoneri’s favour. It remains to be seen if Maldini will proceed with the interest and make a concrete move.

    1. What about Raiola? What are you talking about hahaha ..
Raiola is a representative of the Udinese football player, he is not an agent of De Paula. And as for Raiola, he is just an agent who takes care of his players, it is not his fault that Milan has an ELIOT organization for the boss. Agents and football players are not a problem, the problem is ELIOT which does not want to pay football players more than 3.5 million. Which is absurd and inadmissible that Milan, as a top giant in the WORLD, MUST BE SO HUMILIATED BECAUSE IT CANNOT HAVE GOOD FOOTBALLERS BECAUSE OF THE LIMITS SET BY ELIOT. If you are looking for the culprit for Donnarumma he is not Raiola it is ELIOT

      1. Why did you even bother to respond to him. His figures are already absolute trash. Donnarumma was offered 8Mil but he wanted more. So we said Goodbye and saved us some money. You can imagine what the other players were thinking.. you were offered 8 and it wasn’t enough??.. see Calabria on 1.1!!!

      2. The same Raiola whonis offering him tonOther clubs at just 6m per year, his current salary, so he can get paid the 24m sbonus on signing.. Be smart.. Apply wisdom bro

  1. @Cesar, so it is Elliot’s fault that Donnarumma refused to sign an extension worth €8m a year deal, right?
My friend think well before you conclude on matters
