Ahead of the upcoming season, AC Milan want to bring in some reinforcements as they have a Scudetto to defend. They have a budget of €100m to work with and that makes things a bit difficult.
In addition to reinforcing the squad they had this past season, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara also must replace Franck Kessie and possibly Alessio Romagnoli. A budget of €100m has been made available and although that isn’t a lot, Milan are masters of this.
As highlighted by Tancredi Palmeri in his latest editorial for TMW, Milan will bring in Divock Origi on a free transfer and Renato Sanches for €20m this summer. Then, Sven Botman could perhaps be signed for €30m and Charles De Ketelaere for €40m.
That would be €90m for four starters, which isn’t cheap but not that much either considering the quality of the players. However, the right wing dilemma remains in that equation, as the Rossoneri aren’t willing to spend the €30-40m needed for the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo, Domenico Berardi or Marcos Asensio.
