Zvone Boban is getting ready to leave AC Milan and once again become a former Rossoneri man. Following his words of criticism against the owners and CEO Ivan Gazidis, the decision was pretty obvious in the end.
This morning, Gazzetta Dello Sport reported (via MilanNews.it) that the Croatian director has received the letter of termination. After carrying out his work as usual in the days after the interview, his adventure is now over once and for all.
However, Boban will continue his career as a respected person within the football community. According to La Repubblica, as cited by Calciomercato.com, the Croatian will return to working for FIFA after leaving for the Rossoneri last summer.
Although things didn’t end well at Milan, Boban will still be a respected figure among the fans, having stood up for the club by questioning the owners’ intentions. Hopefully, this isn’t the last we have heard from him on the situation.
