AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is attracting interest from Serie A rivals Napoli, according to the latest reports.
We reported on Wednesday via our transfer expert Vito Angele that Kessie no longer fits into the Milan project and as such he is transferable for €20m in January, something that the player has subsequently been made aware of.
Calciomercato.it ran a shock report not long after, stating that Milan could sell Kessie in order to fund a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso.
Friday’s edition of newspaper La Repubblica – as cited by MilanNews.it – claims that Napoli could return to the market in January to reinforce the midfield.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have two targets: Sander Berge from Genk and Franck Kessie from Milan.
Interestingly, former Milan director Massimiliano Mirabello recently told Napoli to sign the ‘extraordinary’ Kessie who is ‘suffering’ with the Diavolo.
