RMC Sport: PSG eye loan swoop for Chelsea duo as Milan could miss out

In addition to a centre-back, Milan are also looking to bring in a midfielder before the transfer window closes. Tiemoue Bakayoko has been heavily linked with the club, but it seems he could end up elsewhere, a report claims.

According to RMC Sport, the Bakayoko-PSG hypothesis is gathering more steam as the end of the market is approaching. The French side are in concrete negotiations with Chelsea over the midfielder, but not just him.

In fact, they are also discussing the future of Antonio Rudiger, who isn’t in the plans of Frank Lampard. PSG want them both on loan for this season but the English side are demanding a paid loan to part ways with Bakayoko.

The parties are still negotiation and it remains to be seen what the outcome will be. Leonardo, the sporting director of PSG, established contact with the midfielder’s entourage a few months ago but the talks didn’t resume until recently.

Prior to PSG’s approach, Milan had offered a €3m paid loan for Bakayoko but they couldn’t agree on the buy-out fee with Chelsea.
