Report: Roma will not accept a player+cash offer from Milan for Zaniolo

By Euan Burns -

Roma will not accept a player+cash offer from AC Milan for Italian winger Nicolo Zaniolo this summer, according to a report.

As has been reported locally by Corriere di Roma (via Milan News), the Giallorossi are not interested in any of the players that Milan could try to use as part of the transfer.

Given he plays in the same position, Milan have wondered about offering either Alexis Saelemaekers or Ante Rebic as will as money to help make the deal a bit more accessible.

The Giallorossi are not interested in that at all and they only want a fee of €55-60 million in cash. They are willing for that to be paid in instalments, but they want that amount of money for Zaniolo.

Milan may still be interested in the Italian for that fee but another option that should be cheaper is Domenico Berardi at Sassuolo who is heavily linked.

  1. So it’s Belotti, Savic, etc. kind of situation.
Or in other way they show that they need him next season
Let’s wait another year and bring him for 20 mil

  2. Good job Roma. I am really proud and happy they value their garbage so much. If anything they should ask at least 200M for Zaniolo, so we can finally put this nonsense behind us.

STAY STRONG ROMA! Don’t let evil Milan cheat you out of your biggest talent for cheap. Hold on to that
braindead cripple and never let him go.

  3. I’m not gassed about Zaniolo in general, but €55-60 million? That is outrageous. I would much rather get Berardi, who got 3 times as many assists and 7 times as many goals as Zaniolo in the league this season. Zaniolo literally got more yellow cards than goals and assists *combined*. Berardi is better and cheaper.
