AC Milan have a number of different players out on loan at the moment who could boost the budget available for the summer.
Calciomercato.com begin a report by talking about Yacine Adli, who returned to the starting line-up for Fiorentina after three months of absence. He has had a strange season: the numbers say that the performance was good, with five assists, but Nicolò Fagioli’s arrival in January changed things.

At the moment, the chances of a permanent move to La Viola ahead next season for the former Bordeaux man are low and for Milan there is the concrete risk of seeing a €10m option to buy go up in smoke.
Expected departures
Pierre Kalulu will be redeemed by Juventus for around €14m, and the communication arrived in recent days. Alvaro Morata will also certainly leave for Galatasaray, now it remains only to understand if he will go immediately or in the summer of 2026.
There is suspended judgment instead for both Tommaso Pobega and Ismael Bennacer. Bologna and Marseille respectively see the buy-out options as too high: in all likelihood Giovanni Sartori will ask Milan for a discount compared to the €12m agreed, satisfying Vincenzo Italiano.
The operation with Marseille is a paid loan plus a €12m option and €3m in bonuses. In the last few hours the French club have reportedly reassured Ismael of their desire to continue together.
Likely to return
In total, there are 14 Milan players on loan to other teams. Marko Lazetic is not doing great back in Serbia, but by contract Alexis Saelemaekers is having a great season and has already won the love of the fans. Roma will do everything to buy him outright, but €25m is needed or he will return.
The talented Kevin Zeroli will certainly return to base after his loan at Monza, with some appearances as a starter, as will Marco Pellegrino who is doing very well on loan at Huracan and could have a chance.
The two Empoli loanees Lorenzo Colombo and Devis Vazquez are in the balance: the first would represent a major investment for a club like Empoli (€7m) while the second has lost his starting place. A possible relegation to Serie B would wipe out the percentages for both.

Vasquez and Colombo could be a 10M bargaining chip for Ricci.
them + 20M + % resale
Selling Kalulu and Bennacer is good start to make funds. Specially for around 24 million capital gain. That plus winning Coppa, would more than half loses.
Morata leaving permanently would decrease costs.
Players like Colombo, Pobega, Adli , Saelemakers, Okafor, Pellegrino, should stay at Milan and extend contracts, if Milan can’t sell them for full.price. It is because they low salaries and low ammortisation. Better send them on loan somewhere again.
Then sales of Emerson Royal is necessary. Plus possible sale of Ruben Loftus, Chukwueze and Theo with Mike (if those last two don’t sign new contracts).
Okafor should be sold as long as a profit
Keep 1 whether its pobega or adli, but I think should be adli
The Adli situation is bizarre.
He was starring at Fiorentina only to lose his spot to a mediocre Fagioli and Cataldi. Admittedly Mandragora has been ridiculously good in recent times.
I hope common sense prevails and he stays at Fiorentina but this is a priming for a Marotta swoop that makes everyone look stupid. He is perfect as the regista of the Inter midfield 3.
Love Adli but if we want to continue with this 343 system, he simply has no place. He prevails in 3 centre mid system. While Saele, he’d be perfect for our right wing back.
Bologna doesn’t want to buy Pobega? Omg what shocker, almost like his is in fact a useless player
At the end Milan would have to concede and let go some of these players for very very low prices
Everything will depend on the new coach (or should). Unlike some commenters above, I don’t think some of returnees are useless. For example, I would personally not be bothered if Pobega returned. He is club homegrown, and would make a good no. 5 central midfielder, behind Reijnders, Fofana, RLC and what I’m going to assume will be a new DM. It seems Musah might be sold, so I’m not counting him. Pobega will help with the squad lists. Zeroli could also find a place, although maybe another loan to a Serie A mid-table team that could guarantee minutes might be a better idea for him.
Saelemaekers might be useful, particularly if Conceicao continues, but my feeling is that Roma really want him and that he wants them. I think his journey with us is over. We should not force him to remain as we don’t want unhappy players in the locker room.
Same thing with Bennacer and Kalulu. Their time is over, and the money received for them will be useful.
Then there is Colombo. I don’t think he’s ever going to be a 20 goal striker, or even 15, but I think he might have a place in the first team. Considering that we just paid 30M for Gimenez, and can hold on to Jovic for little, and won’t (and shouldn’t) pay anything approaching the amount Roma want he’s worth it), I think Colombo would be the perfect no. 3 striker for us, particularly in a season where we won’t have CL football, if any European football at all, and if we do it doesn’t hurt that he’s club homegrown and would help with the UEFA lists. This would be a cost saving measure that would allow us to contribute more to areas of greater need, like DM/CM, a backup for Theo, new backups for Leao and Pulisic, and perhaps a RB if Walker goes back to City.
Then Adli is a strange case. I just don’t know what to make of him. Sometimes he plays well, sometimes he doesn’t. Where does he fit in to our lineup, either in 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-3? If we played a straight 3-5-2, I could see him in the middle of the midfield in a sort of Pirlo role, but I don’t think we’ll be using this formation. It may be time to cash in on him as well.
If Sportiello retires, Vazquez could be our no. 3 GK, after Mike and Torriani (although I’d really like to see what Torriani can do as a starting GK at a smaller Serie A club).
Okafor and Pellergino should be sold.
Whoops, forgot Bondo, so maybe definitely loan Zeroli.
