AC Milan are in talks with the agent of Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to Sky Sports in the UK.
The Spanish international recently claimed that Chelsea are planning for life without him, something which according to reports was revealed to him by text message.
According to Sky Sports though, Milan are in discussions with his agent Jorge Mendes about a possible deal to bring him to San Siro.
Recent rumours linked Costa with a return to Atletico Madrid, however the Rojiblancos are not allowed to sign players until January due to a transfer ban which was recently upheld.
The 28-year-old’s desire to leave Stamford Bridge could help Milan snap up a proven goalscorer on a good-value deal.
The Rossoneri have also been linked with Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid, who was reportedly the number one target until it was revealed his asking price is around €80million.
Andrea Belotti is apparently a target too, but his €100million release clause has so far proven to be difficult in terms of negotiations.
