It could be an interesting summer for Milan and their fans as thanks to the Champions League qualification, a larger budget will be at Paolo Maldini’s disposal. Several important players have already been linked with the club.
Rodrigo De Paul is one of these players, having scored 9 goals and assisted an additional 10 for Udinese this past season. It’s no surprise, therefore, that several big clubs are monioti8rn the situation of the playmaker.
According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), however, Milan could face tough competition for the signing of De Paul. Atletico Madrid are very interested in the player and Diego Simeone has asked the club to act quickly.
That is, of course, to beat both Milan and Inter in the race and it’s clear that the Spanish side have an advantage. They have already made an offer of €20m plus the young Nehuen Perez, but they still need to come up a bit to convince Udinese.
