Since the league was resumed, Hakan Calhanoglu has been a very important player for AC Milan, looking reenergized after the forced stop. Therefore, Stefano Pioli wants to have him available for the game against Juventus.
The Turkish international opened the scoring against Lazio last night but had to leave before half-time with an injury. He took a knock to his calf and now has to deal with a strong bruise, which had his manager worried for a few hours.
However, as reported by Sky Italia, Calhanoglu should recover in time for the game on Tuesday with the help of some physiotherapy sessions. He had a massage session at Milanello today to try and remove the issue.
That being said, the doubt remains with regards to his availability, but there is certainly less apprehension then there was at the start. Tomorrow should be a decisive day to understand the midfielder’s condition.
