It has been a far from perfect season for Brahim Diaz, struggling to get playing time after Stefano Pioli moved Franck Kessie further up the pitch. However, he could get a chance to shine tomorrow.
Milan will take on Lazio away from home and after a promising appearance off the bench against Inter, Diaz could play from the first minute. This was reported by Sky Italia correspondent Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews) from Milanello just a few minutes ago.
If this ends up being the case, then Ismael Bennacer or Franck Kessie will be benched as Sandro Tonali has cemented his spot in the starting XI. It should be noted that Bennacer trained individually yesterday but he will be available for the game.
Pioli will speak to the media at his usual press conference at 14:15 and he will most likely provide some more answers with regards to the XI, among other things.
