Sky: Ibrahimovic to land in the coming hours; Kessie’s return remains unknown

Yesterday, individual training was resumed at Milanello as AC Milan players were given the all-clear after tests at La Madonnina clinic. Two Rossoneri players are yet to return to Italy, namely Franck Kessie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

As reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), the midfielder is still stuck in Ivory Coast after failing to find accommodation back to Italy. It remains to be seen when he will be back, as the club is working on a solution.

Ibrahimovic, on the other hand, stayed a bit longer in Sweden to train with Hammarby, a club that he owns 25% of. Therefore, he should be in pretty good physical condition, although a 14-day quarantine is needed once he is back in Italy.

The 38-year-old is expected to land in the coming hours. Meanwhile, nine players worked at Milanello this morning, including Lucas Biglia, Hakan Calhanoglu, Gigio Donnarumma, Leo Duarte, Matteo Gabbia, Theo Hernandez and Alessio Romagnoli.
