Sky journalist Di Stefano says Milan can ‘open a new cycle’ with a win against Juve

By Isak Möller -

Considering just how tight the race for a top-four finish is, with Milan currently in fifth place due to Napoli’s win today, tomorrow’s game is of the utmost importance. However, beating Juventus away from home isn’t easy.

The Rossoneri haven’t registered a single point as Allianz Stadium since it was inaugurated back in 2011, which says a lot about the task Milan have at hand. But all trends must change at some point and tomorrow could be the day.

Speaking live on Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Peppe Di Stefano shared his thoughts on the game. He explained why Stefano Pioli’s press conference, which you can read here, has sent an important signal ahead of the game.

“Today was Stefano Pioli’s most loaded and determined press conference. The Rossoneri coach is not one who deceives or exalts, he is a balanced person. He gives the right weight to words both in negative and positive moments. Today he energised the environment: tomorrow is a match that is worth more than three points. Milan, with a win, can open a new cycle,” he stated.

The game is scheduled for 20:45 CEST and as said, it will be far from easy for Milan but they have a strong XI available. There are no excuses, therefore, and the players will have to give their all to succeed.
