Sky: Krunic already training with AC Milan; announcement imminent

AC Milan’s next signing, Rade Krunic, has already started training with the Rossoneri, despite the transfer not being announced yet.

The San Siro reached an agreement with Empoli to sign the Bosnian midfielder for €8m plus bonuses last month, and he has already completed the medical tests for his new club.

Although his move is yet to be officially announced, Sky Italia reports that he has started training at Milan’s training ground, Milanello, as only bureaucratic issues are holding up the announcement.

Fellow Empoli player Bennacer looks set to join Krunic at Milan, as Maldini and Boban have reached an agreement with the Serie B club for the Algerian as well.

The two were crucial for Empoli last season, adding some much-needed quality to an otherwise mediocre midfield. Under Giampaolo’s management, Rossoneri fans will hope that they can continue in the same direction.
